1950 Cadillac Restomod/Restoration - wanting to retain as much of the original, elegant look as possible but also desiring greater power and more modern comforts, this classic Cadillac's owner sent his car to CPR all the way from Georgia just so our Cadillac restoration team can perform the requested work.
To address power, the original 331ci/160hp motor was replaced with a newly rebuilt 390ci/325hp engine and a smoother shifting, more modern Hydra-Matic transmission that also offered a "Park" gear. Performance was also enhanced with installation of a rack and pinion power steering system and disc braked replaced the old drums, adding important increased stopping power.
Since this classic was built in the pre-a/c era, an aftermarket smartphone-controlled air conditioning/climate control system was added. Not having to add controls allowed us to keep the dash intact and original. New leather upholstery further added to the comfort.
Plenty more was done to this 1950 Cadillac convertible, see more.

1959 Cadillac Restoration - Coupe De Ville like many of our projects, there's great sentimental value behind this car. As much as we're known for our full, frame-off Cadillac restoration projects, we also perform many partial projects like this one in particular. Its owner didn't desire a show car and had a budget to work with and we were happy to cooperate.
Work performed included a complete rebuild of the original 390ci motor, engine compartment restoration, with brakes, suspension, steering and cooling systems all restored.
The car's owner was so pleased with this 1959 Cadillac restoration project, he offered this testimonial:
“Frank, Elsa, and team did absolutely outstanding work. They are artists. The many many items of work they did has brought the car to showroom new. Engine is stronger then before and purrs like a sewing machine. Interior: my God. It puts every single new car of the past 30 years to absolute shame.” See more of this project

1959 Cadillac Restoration - another restoration project with great sentimental value attached. Passed down from father to son, this sixty-year-old classic Cadillac was so well-cared-for that it didn't need a full, frame-off resto. Instead, a partial project was performed that resulted in a stunning, like-new vehicle.

1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Restoration - the third classic car (and second Cadillac) owned by a gentleman from Alabama to be sent to CPR's classic Cadillac restoration team for a full, frame-off project. This vehicle underwent a complete disassembly right down to every nut and bolt.
Each component was carefully rebuilt/restored/refinished/replaced and the end result was a First Place, Senior award-winning car at the prestigious Cadillac & LaSalle Club Grand National Meet in 2017. See more of this restoration project

1961 Cadillac Series 62 Restoration - CPR restored this 1961 Cadillac convertible for the President of General Motors. Pure sentimental value drove the decision for a full, frame-off restoration of this classic Cadillac. This is a car that was driven regularly in Manhattan and out to the Hampton on Long Island until it could be driven no more.
The condition of this Cadillac presented some challenges for our team but the end product pleased us as much as it did its owner. It earned a First Place award at the Cadillac & LaSalle Club Grand National Meet and now resides in the city where it was built, Detroit. See more

1961 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Restoration - a perfect example of the international scope of our Cadillac restoration business, this project was shipped back home to New Zealand upon completion.
This classic shows the beginning of the decline of the iconic tailfin design feature that hit its zenith in 1959 and 1960. It's stunning Fontana Rose Metallic paint gleams in all light conditions and the Eldorado Biarritz trim level offers top-of-the-line luxury with the option for top-down driving enjoyment. Many hours of labor go into a restoration project like this and dozens of hours going into just the wheel covers alone. However, the end-result is well worth it in the form of an absolutely brilliant classic Cadillac that will not only turn heads on the road but also impress knowledgeable aficionados who examine the car with greater scrutiny.

1972 Cadillac Restoration - this is the second Cadillac restored for its owner by CPR's team and he's more than thrilled with the result. It wasn't a full, frame-off project but that level of work wasn't necessary and a concours-level show car wasn't the owner's desire.
Cadillacs of the 1970s are becoming quite popular and correspondingly, values are increasing. While this car is one that's driven and enjoyed by its owner, it can also impress judges and earn trophies at many car shows. Projects like this 1972 Cadillac Coupe De Ville are more common that the full, frame-off restorations at our Poughkeepsie, NY facility and good examples of mainstream classic Cadillac owners and aficionados who don't need to spend into the six figures for a concours car in order to fulfill their passion for Standard of the World luxury.
